Energy poverty alleviation tactics that stood the test of a health pandemic and a deep energy crisis
The POWERPOOR and EMPOWERMED projects join forces and host an event on Wednesday the 29th of March, from 9 to 12.30 to present the experiences and lessons learnt from implementing the two projects. The event will be held on site in Brussels (Manhattan Meeting Centre by Spaces Avenue du Boulevard 21, 1210 Brussels).
The concept of the two projects will be presented, followed by testimonies from the national partners and the experiences they gained by approaching energy poor households and by empowering both energy poor people and women enabling them to play their part in the just energy transition and in democratising energy. The experience from the mentorship programme and the DIY workshops will be coupled with the home visits and the energy poverty alleviation offices.
